Museum of Illusions Washington DC is located in CityCenterDC at 927 H Street NW, in downtown Washington, just steps from the White House and about two minutes' walk from the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro station. The museum is a 21st-century exhibition space of more than 50 interactive exhibits across about 6,000 square feet. Illusion rooms include a Tilted Room, a Vortex Tunnel and a Reversed Room, with signature exhibits such as the Ames Room and a Smart Playroom filled with Dilemma games, wooden puzzles and brain teasers. Visitors may touch the exhibits and take photographs. A visit takes about 45 minutes, all ages are welcome, and minors up to 15 must be accompanied. Private events include corporate events, team-building sessions, birthday parties, anniversaries, welcome receptions, cocktail receptions, after parties and brunch events, and the corporate-event space is described as customizable and brandable. Private events must be agreed upon in advance and can run until 2 a.m. at the latest. A Private Museum Takeover gives a group full private access to the museum with a dedicated team, priced at $500 per hour for up to 10 guests plus $10 per additional guest, in 9–10 AM or 8–10 PM sessions, with reservations required at least three days ahead.
