About National Press Club

The National Press Club is a historic indoor event venue and conference center in downtown Washington, between the White House, Washington Monument, and Capitol Hill, with access to Metro, parking, and hotels. Its ten event spaces share a floor and provide more than 15,000 square feet for events ranging from 15 to 1,500 guests. For weddings, the Ballroom seats up to 200 with room for a dance floor, and an on-site ceremony is available for an additional fee. In-house catering and professional audio-visual and multimedia services are available.

Pricing note

A six-hour full-club buyout is listed at $14,250, including labor. The rental fee falls to $9,250 if food and beverage revenue exceeds $16,000 before tax and service charge. A $14,250 deposit is due at contract signing and credited toward the final balance. An on-site ceremony fee of $500 may apply; additional late-night fees may apply. Start and end times are flexible by arrangement.
