Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Cenovio AI Ventures LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use wedplan.ai — our websites, phone apps and related services (the "Service") — and the choices you have. The Terms of Service also apply.
Effective October 26, 2026.
Who we are
The Service is operated by Cenovio AI Ventures LLC, a Michigan limited liability company in the United States. Privacy questions and requests: privacy@wedplan.ai. Everything else: support@wedplan.ai.
Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Account information — your name, email address, password and account type (couple, venue or vendor).
- Your content — what you create, upload or enter: wedding, venue, vendor and event details, guest lists, seating and floor plans, budgets, timelines, notes, photos, files and similar planning information.
- Messages — what you send to other people through the Service and what you send to us (in the app or by email), including attachments such as screenshots, and the page and app version you were using.
- Community posts — posts and replies on Boards and the name shown with them.
- Venue listing claims — the information used to verify that you represent a venue.
- Purchases — if you buy a paid service, the information needed to complete and record the purchase.
Information about other people. Users can add information about others — for example, a couple's guest list (names, contact details, mailing addresses, RSVP answers and meal or seating details) or the team members they invite. Guests who answer a couple's RSVP or guest page give it to us directly, and photos taken with a wedding's guest camera go to that wedding.
Information from sign-in providers. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address (Apple may give us a private relay address instead) and, from Google, your profile picture if you have one.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we and our service providers collect information about your device and how you use the Service: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, identifiers stored in cookies, local storage or the app (such as a random device ID), pages and features used, actions taken, dates and times, referring pages, and clicks on links in emails we send.
Device permissions. With your permission, the phone apps use your camera, photo library, microphone and notifications for the features that need them. If you turn on notifications, we receive a notification token for your device and its time zone. You can change these permissions in your device settings.
Information from other sources. Venue listings are compiled from public sources such as business directories and venues' own websites. We may also receive information about you from other users (for example, when a couple invites you to their wedding).
How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Service, including saving and syncing your work and showing it to the people you share it with.
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To communicate with you — service messages, answers to your messages, and news and offers about the Service (you can turn off marketing).
- To provide support and fix problems, including by using automated tools and AI to read, sort, answer and act on messages you send us.
- To review content for safety and compliance with our Terms, including automated moderation of posts before they appear.
- To understand how the Service is used, and to improve it and develop new products, services and features.
- To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse, security problems and other harmful activity.
- To comply with law, enforce our Terms and protect the rights, property and safety of us, our users and others.
- For any other purpose we describe when we collect the information, or with your consent.
We may create aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you, and use and share it for any purpose.
Information from Google
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We use it to create your account, sign you in, show your name and contact you about your account; we store it with your account and share it only as described in How we share information. We do not ask Google for access to any other data in your Google account.
How long we keep information
We keep information while your account is open and for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy — for example, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, keep the Service secure, and maintain backups. Information you shared with others (such as a wedding shared with your venue) can stay with them after you remove it from your account. Aggregated or de-identified information may be kept indefinitely.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the website: Settings → Delete my account (an account that has no workspace yet: Account → Sign-in). You can also ask us by emailing privacy@wedplan.ai from the email address on your account.
- Your account is placed on hold for 30 days. During that time you can sign back in and choose to keep it.
- After 30 days, we delete your account and the personal information associated with it, including your profile and sign-in details. A wedding, venue or business that no one else belongs to is deleted with it.
- A wedding, venue or business shared with other people stays with them and shows your part as a former member. Posts you made on Boards may remain. Usage records remain without being linked to your email address.
- We may keep information we must keep for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons, and copies in backups until they are overwritten.
Guests whose information a couple added can ask the couple to remove it, or email privacy@wedplan.ai.
Your choices
- Review and update most of your information in the Service or in Settings.
- Marketing email — turn off Product updates in Settings, or ask us at privacy@wedplan.ai. We may still send service messages.
- Device permissions — turn camera, photos, microphone and notification access on or off in your device settings.
- Sign-in providers and connected apps — disconnect Apple, Google or a connected app in Settings.
- Withdraw your consent to our use of your information by deleting your account, as described above, or by contacting privacy@wedplan.ai.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and accounts are only for people 18 and older. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without the consent the law requires, we will delete it. Contact privacy@wedplan.ai if you believe that has happened.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information.
Where information is processed
We are in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use the Service from somewhere else, your information is transferred to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will tell you in the Service or by email before it takes effect.
