About Hispanic Society Museum & Library

The Hispanic Society Museum & Library occupies Beaux-Arts buildings on Audubon Terrace, on Broadway between 155th and 156th streets in Upper Manhattan. The complex is a National Historic and New York City Landmark. The Main Court, which features Francisco de Goya's The Duchess of Alba and other Hispanic masterworks, serves as a setting for cocktail receptions. The Sorolla Gallery, surrounded by Joaquín Sorolla's panoramic canvases The Provinces of Spain, is used for seated dinners, cocktail receptions and concerts. The open-air Audubon Terrace suits cocktail receptions, seated dinners, concerts and dancing. In various configurations the galleries accommodate up to 350 guests for a cocktail reception and 150 for a seated dinner, and events take place after hours from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Free parking is available on 155th Street west of Broadway, and wheelchair access is available through the Broadway entrance to Audubon Terrace.
