The Envio is a downtown Portsmouth wedding and event venue connected to the AC Hotel Portsmouth Downtown Waterfront. Its third-floor ballroom is 4,390 square feet and can be divided into three rooms, with a listed maximum of 298 attendees. For ceremonies and smaller receptions, the first-floor Marea is another option. The pre-function space has floor-to-ceiling windows and views toward the seaport and Piscataqua River; an outdoor terrace overlooking the river and bridges connects to the ballroom and pre-function area. The venue’s wedding team offers planning and catering support, and the culinary team creates seasonal menus using ingredients sourced from Portsmouth-area farms and waters. Wedding packages include a dedicated specialist, menu tasting, a one-hour open bar during the cocktail reception, dance floor, cake, linens and silver Chiavari chairs. The connected hotel offers 156 guest rooms; wedding packages include a preferred rate for overnight guests and a complimentary suite for the couple on their wedding night.
