Black River Landing
About Black River Landing
Black River Landing is a 25-acre riverfront park and event site in Lorain. Its grounds include walking paths, a StoryWalk, pavilions, picnic tables, benches and bench swings, a dock, and a human and canine water fountain. The Transportation Center (Train Station) and pergola have been used for weddings, receptions and graduation parties. The site also hosts concerts, festivals and community events, with a water taxi connecting nearby docks during most festivals and concerts. When no event is taking place, the park is open to the public from dawn until 11 p.m.; dogs are welcome during non-event hours but are not allowed at Rockin’ on the River or BRL events. Permanent amphitheater construction was underway in 2025.
