The University of Wisconsin–Madison Arboretum is a 400‑acre natural‑area park featuring more than 17 miles of trails through restored prairies, savannas, woodlands, and wetlands. It includes the 37‑acre Longenecker Horticultural Gardens and the 4‑acre Wisconsin Native Plant Garden, showcasing thousands of native and cultivated woody plants. The Visitor Center offers restrooms, a library, bookstore, art gallery, auditorium, classrooms, and accessible parking. An outdoor garden space is available for wedding ceremonies, though receptions are not permitted.
