Monona Terrace is a multilevel event and convention center on the shore of Lake Monona in downtown Madison, with rooftop gardens, lake views and indoor rooms for celebrations. Couples may book a ceremony and reception, a reception only, or an outdoor ceremony only in the rooftop West Circle or Center Circle. Center Circle accommodates up to 3,000 attendees; West Circle accommodates up to 350, subject to reductions for event equipment and setups. The venue offers event coordination, exclusive in-house catering and audiovisual services. The attached Hilton Madison Monona Terrace connects by an indoor skywalk and is separately owned and managed.

Tax and service charges do not count toward the discount. The 2026 wedding package prices are per person, not venue rental fees: Basic $6.50, Standard $70.95 per adult and $22.95 per child, and Premium $84.95 per adult and $24.95 per child. A rooftop ceremony-only rental also incurs the full rooftop fee plus half the normal rental fee for a weather backup space.
