About Olde North Chapel
The Olde North Chapel is a historic wedding venue located in Richmond, Indiana's Elizabeth Starr Historic District. Built between 1866 and 1868 as a United Presbyterian Church, the chapel retains original stained glass windows, hand-carved pews, a balcony, a baby grand piano, Austrian crystal chandeliers, and a double staircase. The ceremony space seats up to 250 guests. An adjacent banquet room accommodates up to 100 guests for receptions and includes a dance floor, disco ball, full service kitchen, and tables and chairs. The venue offers customized wedding packages that include use of the bridal suite, choice of decorative arches and candelabras, and house flowers. On-site staff assist with ceremony logistics. Mini ceremonies are available Monday through Friday by appointment. Larger reception venues are located within blocks of the chapel.
