About Metropolitan Pavilion

Metropolitan Pavilion is an event venue in Chelsea, Manhattan, at 125 West 18th Street, set in a historic turn-of-the-century building with polished oak floors and Corinthian columns. The ground-floor Full Pavilion offers 25,000 square feet that can be used as one hall or divided into North and South Pavilions, each with its own private entrance and lobby. Upper floors add The Metropolitan Suite (8,500 sq ft, 2nd floor), The Gallery (7,000 sq ft, 4th floor, with a 1,500 sq ft breakout room), The Level (7,500 sq ft, 5th floor), and Metropolitan Creative Studios, a 25,000 sq ft third floor of seven meeting and boardroom rooms with North and South lounges. The venue hosts galas, dinners, receptions, trade shows, product launches, fashion and art shows, and corporate meetings. Guest capacities vary by space and layout, from 20 in the smallest studio boardroom to 1,565 in the Full Pavilion's reception and theater layouts. Catering is handled in-house with customizable packages and Kosher, sustainable and farm-to-table options, and bar service ranges from a soft-drink refresh bar to a full bar with premium spirits. Built-in AV and lighting can be expanded with LED walls, video displays, moving lights and wireless audio, and furniture, drape, décor and floral services are available as add-ons. The building has an indoor loading dock, is served by several subway lines, and has public parking garages listed in the surrounding blocks.
