About Hudson River Museum

Set on the banks of the Hudson River in Yonkers, the Hudson River Museum hosts weddings and special events in a setting that combines modern and historic architecture. The Hudson Room, the Museum’s largest event space, connects to a terrace overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. The Planetarium is available for wedding ceremonies and private screenings, while the garden courtyard offers an outdoor setting beside the Museum’s historic home and collection galleries. The Museum also has a 400-seat outdoor amphitheater with river views; performances can move indoors to the Hudson Room in inclement weather. Free parking is available.

Rental fees depend on the spaces used, guest count, event duration, and maintenance and security base fees; no rental amount is stated. A signed contract requires a 50% deposit and a separate refundable security deposit. The Museum recommends inquiring at least three months before the event. Vendors are subject to Museum approval. Decorations may not permanently alter or damage spaces, and open flames are prohibited.
