Union Hall is a historic industrial event venue in downtown Raleigh’s Warehouse District, on the original site of the city’s train depot. The Grand Hall features exposed industrial beams, 40-foot ceilings and a dramatic window wall; it accommodates up to 700 guests in mixed seating and 350 for plated dinners. Its Terrace offers downtown views, lighting, power and seasonal landscaping for open-air gatherings, while the third-floor Overlook provides a naturally lit setting for smaller gatherings, private dinners and wedding preparations. Weddings can use the Grand Hall and Terrace. The venue’s wedding capacity is 350 without large floor elements and 200 with them, depending on the layout. Rentals include 12 hours of access, furnishings, on-site security, janitorial service and a venue manager. The building and Terrace are ADA accessible. Rocky Top Catering is the exclusive caterer; bar service must be provided by Rocky Top Catering or On My Way Bartending, and clients must select catering, bar service, planners and rentals from the required vendor list. Parking is available for a fee at the public deck across the street; there is no on-site parking. For 2026, rental rates range from $5,500 to $8,500 depending on the day, with a separate refundable $1,000 damage deposit required.

2026 wedding rental rates: $5,500 Monday–Thursday, $7,500 Friday, $8,500 Saturday and $7,000 Sunday. A refundable $1,000 damage deposit is additional. Holiday dates may incur a $1,500 fee; extra hours cost $250 per hour; the Observation Patio is available for an additional $250. High guest counts over 300 may incur additional fees.
