About Twisted Oak Estate

Twisted Oak Estate is a private gated event venue in downtown Banner Elk, set on mountain-top grounds with 360-degree Blue Ridge Mountain views. Outdoor ceremonies can be held at The View, while The Barn provides space for cocktail hours and receptions. The Barn is a 4,200-square-foot modern venue with a covered porch, getting-ready suites, Wi-Fi, two 75-inch televisions, two bathrooms, a caterers’ kitchen and a service-entry driveway. Its garage doors open onto a 2,300-square-foot patio with a wood-burning fireplace, string lights and yard space for games; the Barn is available from May to mid-October. Wedding Day offerings accommodate up to 100 seated guests or 125 for a cocktail-style reception, with day-of access to the grounds from 9 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and up to two hours for a wedding rehearsal. A full wedding weekend includes access to the event space from Friday at 11 a.m. to Sunday at 11 a.m. and up to two additional on-site events. Two on-site suites are available for getting ready; The Loft, an upstairs honeymoon suite with a king bed, kitchen amenities, laundry and a heated porch, is an optional add-on for Wedding Day and included with the full weekend package. The venue also hosts rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, community events and private events.
