About Daniel Boone Native Gardens

A three-acre public native-plant garden near downtown Boone, with more than 200 plant species and blooms progressing through the growing season. The grounds include bog, fern, rhododendron and rock gardens, a grassy allee, wrought-iron gates, a vine-covered arbor and the historic Squire Boone Cabin. The Pickin’ Porch and a newer stage are among the garden’s community-event features. Outdoor garden spaces are available for weddings and other events; clients choose their own planners, vendors and caterers.
