About Thinkery – Meredith Learning Lab

Thinkery – Meredith Learning Lab is a 40,000-square-foot children’s museum and event venue in Austin’s Mueller neighborhood. Thinkery offers weddings as well as other private events, with rentals ranging from individual floors to exclusive use of the full museum and its outdoor spaces. The first floor has interactive galleries and access to outdoor areas; the second floor includes water experiences and imaginative play areas with views of Mueller Lake Park. Private rentals take place after general admission hours. Food and beverages are allowed at private after-hours events. Alcohol service requires a TABC-licensed bartender and a security officer at the entrance. The venue offers staff support and equipment access; parking is available at the recommended McBee Parking Garage, without complimentary event validation.
