About The Wine Experience
The Wine Experience is a wine tasting room on Cannery Row in Monterey, California. Guests can taste up to 14 Monterey County and Central Coast wines and four local craft beers, enjoy small plates, and take part in wine blending sessions in which they create a custom bottle with a personalized label. The bar area is 520 square feet, with seating for 28 and standing room for 40 to 60 or more. A separate 270-square-foot classroom seats 8 and holds 12 to 16 standing. The bar area can be leased for a private event, which requires the business to close for that event; the classroom can be rented separately during normal business hours. The outdoor area accommodates about 15 additional guests. Private gatherings can use a mix-and-mingle format with wines and beers on tap, cheese and charcuterie, or a facilitated six-wine tasting. Food can be configured from the venue menu or from a list of caterers the venue works with. Wedding parties, corporate events and private groups are among the custom events the venue hosts.
