About Folktale Winery & Vineyard
Folktale Winery & Vineyard is set on 15 acres of vineyards and gardens along the Carmel River in Carmel Valley. Its vineyard and mountain views form the setting for weddings and private events, with indoor and outdoor event spaces offered for gatherings ranging from intimate occasions to larger celebrations. Spaces described for events include the Rose Vineyard, a grassy outdoor setting for ceremonies and tented events, and the adjacent 10,000-square-foot Barrel Room, which can be configured for receptions, dinners, and other events. The 6,000-square-foot Vineyard House has four private rooms, a vaulted-ceiling great room, and a wrap-around patio among the vines. The Greenhouse connects to the Wine Garden, while the Wine Garden and Courtyard provide outdoor reception space. Group food and wine experiences include tastings, wine blending, culinary workshops, and guided property tours. The current visitor experience includes an outdoor Vineyard View setting with vineyard views, food, and complimentary live music; the main Wine Garden is currently under renovation.
