In historic downtown Waterloo, The Venue at River’s Edge occupies the former Waterloo Community Hall, a brick Neoclassical building constructed in 1926. Its wood-floored auditorium features a large lighted stage and serves as the main ballroom. Weddings may use the ballroom for dinner seating or theatre seating, with the stage available for ceremonies or head-table placement. The venue also hosts receptions and offers a lower-level Pub for rehearsal dinners, showers, or additional entertainment. The building is heated and air-conditioned year-round. Wedding amenities include a bride’s room with a private restroom, a full bar, onsite management, tables and chairs, accessible restrooms, and street and private-lot parking. Couples may choose their own caterer; event packages include setup and teardown assistance and onsite staff. A private apartment called The Loft is located above the venue and is advertised for stays by couples and wedding guests.
