About The Lucas Farm NC
The Lucas Farm is a 450-acre historic farm in Currie, about 20 miles from downtown Wilmington. Its refurbished barn has air conditioning and heat, ceremony and dinner seating for up to 175 guests, and a DJ system with electrical capacity for a full band. The open-air back barn seats up to 200 for ceremonies or 150 for dinner and can serve as a rain backup. The farm also describes the pecan orchard as a level setting for a tent. Farmhouse and schoolhouse access is included with the 12-hour venue rental; both have kitchens and rooms for wedding parties to get ready. The bar shed has a serving counter, coolers, and patios, and the carriage house has a catering kitchen. The schoolhouse is available for overnight stays for an additional charge.
