About Host Social Hall

Host Social Hall is a three-story historic event venue in downtown Wilmington, with connected gathering halls and views toward the Cape Fear River and historic shoreline. Its spaces support wedding ceremonies, receptions, dining, cocktail gatherings and other celebrations. The ground-floor Carriage Lounge offers an arrival lounge or more intimate gathering space; Canopy Hall on the second floor is used for ceremonies, dining, dancing and showers; and the third-floor Wiggins Ballroom hosts dinners, receptions and ceremonies. The ballroom features century-old hardwoods, exposed ceilings and chandeliers, and the building is climate-controlled.
