THE HOUSE. is an event venue in Richmond’s Historic Carver neighborhood, in a former church dating to the 1950s. The space has more than 2,300 square feet, hardwood floors and exposed brick, and is offered for small wedding receptions and other events. Guests may bring their own food or arrange a food truck; one food truck is permitted at a time. The venue provides tables, chairs, black knit tablecloths and access to a sound system, with one hour before the event for setup and up to one hour afterward for cleanup. A ramp provides entry, and two bathrooms are ADA compliant. Events end by 10 p.m., or 9 p.m. on Sundays.
