The John Marshall Ballrooms

About The John Marshall Ballrooms

The John Marshall Ballrooms offers indoor wedding and event spaces in the renovated Hotel John Marshall, a building that opened in 1929 and was restored to its 1920s character. The Marshall Ballroom features crystal chandeliers and tall windows; the Virginia Ballroom has an overlooking balcony and a 27-by-27-foot hardwood dance floor. The Grand Lobby can be used for cocktail hour, and the Club Room and Guest Suite provide additional spaces for gatherings and day-of preparation. Ceremonies can be held in the ballrooms, with staff turning the room for the reception while guests attend cocktail hour in the lobby. Exclusive on-site catering is provided by Homemades by Suzanne.
