The Historic Park Theatre and Event Center is a refurbished, multipurpose performing arts venue in Cranston, about five miles from downtown Providence. The venue accepts rental inquiries for weddings as well as other events, including galas and corporate events. Its main theatre seats approximately 1,000 patrons. Smaller rentable spaces include the 143-capacity 848 Side Stage, which can be arranged with rows, banquet tables, or left clear, and the 848 Lounge, a 76-capacity bar with food and specialty cocktails during theatre events. Free parking is available behind Cranston City Hall across the street, and street parking is also available nearby.
