About The Donnelly House

The historic Donnelly House is a 1905 Georgian-colonial mansion in Birmingham, with more than 12,000 square feet of interior space. Weddings can be held indoors or outdoors, including the gazebo garden, back patios, and front lawn. Reception and ceremony-reception bookings include access to the house’s first and second floors and outdoor patio areas; ceremony-reception bookings also include the gazebo garden. The venue offers reception-only, ceremony-only, ceremony-and-reception, and rehearsal-dinner bookings. It provides tables and chairs, setup and breakdown of its inventory, final cleanup, and on-site catering. The venue handles bar service, and clients may supply alcohol subject to a corkage fee. On-street parking is available.

Listed venue rental packages: reception only $4,500; ceremony and reception $5,500; ceremony only $3,000; rehearsal dinner only $3,000, or $1,500 when booked with ceremony/reception. Rehearsal dinners include up to 100 guests; an additional fee applies above that. A $750 reservation deposit is required. Additional event time costs $750 per hour; additional pre-ceremony time costs $125 per hour.
