About The Brier Barn

The Brier Barn is a converted early-1900s dark-fired tobacco barn on the Dorris family farm in Greenbrier, north of Nashville. The historic barn retains original sawmill lumber, oversized timber framing and darkened interior walls. Weddings and other celebrations are hosted on the property, with an outdoor ceremony area, a covered pavilion for ceremonies or additional reception seating, and a main room for tables and food. The venue also includes a heated and cooled serving area with a functional kitchen, restrooms, a fire pit area and bridal and groom suites housed in the separate Stock Barn. The bridal suite has hair and makeup stations, a kitchenette, seating, a full bath and loft bedroom; the groom's suite has a bar, pool table, seating and half bath. The rental includes tables and chairs, an on-site organizer and a full weekend rental from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon.
