The Blacksmith Shop is an industrial-style wedding and event venue in historic downtown Macon, with restored brickwork, heart pine beams, and arched entrances. Its 10,000-square-foot indoor space accommodates more than 200 guests for a seated dinner or 300 for a cocktail-style reception. A landscaped courtyard with wide paths, lighting, and water features can host ceremonies, photos, cocktails, and mingling; an intimate loggia is also part of the grounds. Two bar areas have refrigerated coolers and granite tops, and clients may select their own bar provider. The catering kitchen includes prep tables, ovens, burners, refrigerated coolers, an ice machine, and an automatic dishwasher. Couples marrying at the venue can use an adjacent bridal and groom suite with a sitting room, vanity area, mirrors, and private restrooms.
