The Barn at Blueberry Hill is a family-owned wedding venue on a 200-acre farm in Elkin’s Yadkin Valley. Its restored 1949 barn has 4,000 square feet of climate-controlled event space, 20-foot ceilings and room for ceremonies, receptions and dancing for up to 150 guests. Couples can exchange vows at an outdoor site overlooking a pond and rolling hills, with the barn available as an indoor option and weather backup. The outdoor ceremony entrance has closable doors and a roughly 100-foot level, paved aisle. Guests can also use the patio, arcade, yard games and covered firepit area beneath a repurposed grain bin. Wedding packages include venue access, two nights in the Farmhouse, a DJ, tables, chairs, linens, decorations, setup and cleanup, staff support and a photo booth. The Farmhouse sleeps eight; the Bunkhouse sleeps 14 and is available for an additional nightly charge; and the Grain Bin sleeps two. These accommodations are described as about three-tenths of a mile from the barn. Couples may provide beer and wine, but liquor is not permitted; alcohol must be served by the venue bartender in the designated bar area, and security is included when alcohol is served. Catering is arranged through outside vendors. Floral arrangements are available for an additional charge.
