About Summit City Farms and Winery

Summit City Farms and Winery is a family-owned working farm in the historic Chestnut Ridge section of Glassboro, New Jersey, with orchards on more than 500 acres. The winery opened in 2014. Its indoor tasting room displays South Jersey and Glassboro memorabilia and local antiques, and the setting is described as historic and indoor. The winery hosts private gatherings for 20 to 100 guests, including bridal showers, birthday and retirement parties, and wine pairing events. In the wine pairing option, a private server pours from the full wine selection in the tasting room, and the host receives a tour of the facility. The bridal shower package includes a wine attendant and glassware. Guests may use the winery food service, a caterer from the winery's preferred list, or their own catering. Food is prepared in a Ravelli wood-fired oven and served as flatbreads and pizza through the winery food service, which opened in April 2025. More than 30 varieties of wine are produced on location. The tasting room is open Friday through Sunday, with hours extended to 10 p.m. on music nights.
