About Solomon and Penelopy Pace House

The Solomon and Penelopy Pace House is a historic house in the Vinings village area of Georgia, on Paces Mill Road. It was built between 1865 and 1874 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house consists of three rooms: a parlor, a dining room and a bedroom. The adjacent Old Pavilion, built in 1874 as an open-air structure, was moved to the site in 1996 and is connected to the house by a large open deck. Post-move renovations added a deck, a catering kitchen and restrooms to the pavilion, which is designated a Cobb County Historic Landmark. The house and Old Pavilion complex are available to rent for special events, and the grounds host the annual Party for Preservation fundraiser.
