About Pioneer Flight Museum

Pioneer Flight Museum is a nonprofit living history museum at the Old Kingsbury Aerodrome in Kingsbury, Texas, near Seguin, about 40 miles east of San Antonio. It preserves and restores aircraft and historical ground vehicles from the beginning of flight through the early years of World War II, and keeps many of them in working order. The collection includes vintage aircraft, Ford Model T and other antique vehicles, and running antique engines. A World War I-era hangar was moved to the grounds and is being finished as the primary exhibit building. The airfield has a 2,700-foot grass runway. Spring and fall Wings & Wheels Fly-Ins bring antique aircraft, classic cars, food trucks, vendors and living history displays to the grounds. A pilot's wedding reception was hosted onsite in 2021, and the couple departed from the runway. Published capacity, rental pricing and wedding booking terms are not available; visitors are asked to call or email ahead.
