The Lakeside Historical Society rents the Olde Community Church for weddings and other private events. Built in 1886, the restored site is described as a non-sectarian country chapel and community meeting place. Its chapel and garden offer a setting for ceremonies, with white wood siding, a bell tower, stained-glass windows, wisteria and roses, and a historic carved organ. The Society also rents a reception hall with tables, chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen; the hall seats up to 80 guests.
