Loma Vista Gardens

Wedding venue in Big Sur, California

About Loma Vista Gardens

Loma Vista Gardens is a garden wedding venue terraced into a forested hillside in Big Sur, with five ascending levels and views across the valley. The Lower Courtyard offers ceremony and dining setups, including a pergola ceremony area. The Nest Level includes a lawn and amphitheater for mingling, dining, lounging, or dancing, while the Grazing Level provides built-in counters for hors d’oeuvres, grazing stations, or cocktails. The Upper Terrace is the largest area and is used for ceremonies and receptions, with a nearby bar and bathrooms; the elevated Plateau can host ceremonies or serve as a stage for music and speeches. The venue also has a Nuptial Yurt and a mid-century trailer for wedding party preparation. Rentals include venue furniture, fire pits, heaters, lounge areas, and lawn games; clients may use an approved caterer of their choice, and alcohol service requires in-house bartending. Select on-site accommodations for up to 10 guests may be available in the yurt and trailer, booked separately with a two-night minimum. The gardens have ramps as well as stairs, though paths include natural dirt, gravel, and grass surfaces.
