About Lightner Museum Weddings & Events

Lightner Museum Weddings & Events hosts weddings inside the former Alcazar Hotel, a historic Gilded Age building in downtown St. Augustine. The indoor Historic Pool, once the hotel’s swimming pool, has a three-story ceiling and grand staircases and can be arranged for ceremonies and receptions. The Mezzanine overlooks the Pool, while the Grand Lobby offers another indoor option for cocktail hours or intimate ceremonies. The Outdoor Terrace is used for ceremonies, cocktail hours, portraits, and grand exits, and a private garden below it is available for wedding portraits. The venue offers a customizable package for celebrations of 40–225 guests and an all-inclusive package for 40–100 guests, along with event staffing, venue amenities, and venue-provided bar service. Both packages include access to the Maria Jefferson and Otto Lightner Lounges for preparations.
