LePlatt's Pond is a private outdoor wedding venue on a 100-acre working cattle ranch in Bayfield's Pine River Valley, about 20 minutes from Durango. A 10-acre pond, cottonwoods and mountain views frame the lakeside ceremony site, which has shaded log benches and a handmade willow arbor. Receptions are held in a draped 40-by-80-foot tent beside the pond and meadow, with room for up to 200 guests, tables and seating, chandelier lighting, a bar area, a dedicated catering tent and a fire-pit lounge. Wedding packages include three days of private ranch access and a two-night stay in The Loft, an on-site retreat that sleeps six. Day-of coordination, event setup and teardown are also included.
