Hotel Theodore is a boutique hotel at 1531 7th Avenue in downtown Seattle's Pike-Pine corridor, near Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum and the waterfront, with a Westlake light-rail station two blocks away. The building opened as the Roosevelt Hotel in 1929 and reopened in 2017 under the Hotel Theodore name after a floor-by-floor renovation. Event spaces include the Atrium, with skylights and floral murals, which holds up to 80 guests for receptions or the ceremony and can be combined with the Mezzanine, a pre-function space for up to 100. The Carlson Room is the largest meeting room, for up to 100 guests in banquet, theater and classroom layouts. The Wright Room holds up to 50 guests, the Graham up to 20 and the Cabinet boardroom up to 10. The 19th-floor Roosevelt penthouse, about 2,000 square feet with two outdoor wrap-around decks and a hot tub, hosts private ceremonies and celebrations for up to 12 guests and events for up to 30. Weddings are hosted through packages covering the ceremony and celebration, with rehearsal dinners and farewell brunches also offered. Catering is provided by RIDER Seattle, the ground-floor restaurant with a wood-fired grill, which also hosts private events for groups up to 200 and offers buffet or plated menus. Guest rooms range from standard rooms of 166 to 250 square feet to superior rooms of 310 to 390 square feet, plus king and queen studio suites, a 597-square-foot Seattle Made Suite and accessible rooms with roll-in showers. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, a complimentary wine hour from 5 to 6 p.m., valet parking at $59 per night and electric vehicle charging.
