Located on the Saint Mary’s College campus near the University of Notre Dame, Gillespie Conference Center offers indoor event space alongside an outdoor garden. The 8,400-square-foot Fleur de Lis Ballroom accommodates up to 840 guests and connects to a pre-function area for cocktails or other gatherings. The adjacent 2,500-square-foot Terrace Garden has a built-in aisle and water fountains, and can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and other wedding events. Wedding planning includes support with menus, room layouts, vendor coordination, and day-of coordination. The venue’s culinary team provides customized food and beverage service; wedding packages include a private menu tasting, hors d’oeuvres, a five-hour premium open bar, plated or buffet dinner, cake cutting, toast, dance floor, setup and teardown, and linens. Hilton Garden Inn is attached to the center, and the Inn at Saint Mary’s is nearby; group room rates and complimentary parking are listed among wedding package inclusions.

Pricing note

Wedding ballroom rental is complimentary when the applicable food and beverage minimum is met. Minimums vary by ballroom configuration and day: one section is $5,000 Fridays/Sundays or $6,000 Saturdays; two sections $10,000 or $12,000; full ballroom $15,000 or $17,000. A separate $2,000 advance deposit is required and is nonrefundable. Ceremony-only use is listed at $1,000; ceremony and reception together incur a $500 setup/teardown fee. Wedding meal packages start at $85 per guest plated or $89 per guest buffet; these are per-person package prices, not rental fees. 22% service charge and 7% sales tax apply.
