Completed in 1819, Decatur House is a historic Washington property about a block from the White House. It welcomes weddings and receptions, with alfresco, indoor, and tented event environments. Rental use can include the Carriage House, Courtyard, and/or Historic House; the social-events material also highlights renovated Lower Level Entertaining Parlors. Weekend rentals include an opportunity to take photographs in the Upper Level Entertaining Parlors during the contracted block, subject to restrictions on food and beverage service there.
