Clover Barn is a custom-built, 6,600-square-foot post-and-beam barn on eight acres in Bondurant, outside Des Moines. It offers a main indoor event room and an outdoor ceremony site, with garden, fountain, wooded areas, covered patios, pavilions, and porches around the property. The barn can host 250 or more guests; indoor ceremonies seat 150 comfortably, and the outdoor ceremony area seats 275. For dinner receptions, the indoor room seats approximately 250 to 270 guests. Wedding rentals include a bridal getting-ready room, a groom’s lounge with fireplace, tables, chairs, wedding linens, setup and teardown, design services, wedding lineup coordination, an on-site manager or staff member, post-event cleanup, and access to decor items. The facility has heating and air conditioning, a kitchen, restrooms, a loft, a designated bar area with exclusive bar service, and an outdoor sound system on the covered patio. Licensed caterers are required for wedding receptions, and outside alcohol is not permitted. Wedding rental fees are $7,500 for a full day or $9,500 for a full weekend from May through October. For November, December, March, and April, the listed fees are $7,000 for a full day and $9,000 for a full weekend; the venue is closed in January and February. Full-day rentals run 9 a.m. to midnight. The venue requires a $1,000 wedding deposit and the remaining balance 30 days before the event.
