Wedding venue in Cayce, South Carolina

About Cayce Historical Museum
The Cayce Historical Museum occupies a replica of a frontier trading post, first built in the area in 1765, at 1800 12th Street in Cayce, toward the back of the city's municipal complex. Its exhibits cover local history from the prehistoric period through the 20th and 21st centuries, including a Native American collection of more than 7,000 projectile points, tools and potsherds, and exhibits on the Revolutionary and Civil War eras and the 1964 Cayce Dixie Youth World Series champions. On the grounds are a 1749 detached kitchen used for living history events, an 1820 smokehouse, a railroad caboose and a 1938 rail speeder. The museum's small Visitor Center can be rented for family gatherings, receptions and other private events for groups of up to 35 people. Because the room is not always open to rentals due to museum and city events, guests apply for space, reserve at least one week in advance and pick up a key from the front desk before closing on the business day before the event.
