Boothbay Playhouse Events is a restored 1937 post-and-beam theater in Midcoast Maine, with approximately 6,000 square feet of indoor space and outdoor ceremony grounds. Weddings can move from the outdoor ceremony area to the deck and stone patio for cocktails, then into the main theater for dinner and dancing. The theater has exposed beams, two balconies, a dance floor and stained-glass windows; a separate lounge wing includes an Art Deco bar and working brick fireplace. The venue accommodates gatherings of 60 to 200 guests and hosts one event at a time during its operating season, from approximately mid-April through mid-December. The venue provides a get-ready suite with salon stations and a separate den, farmhouse tables and cross-back chairs, customizable in-house catering and licensed bar service, a day-of coordinator, setup and cleanup, parking assistance, climate control, a 30 kW backup generator and Wi-Fi.
