About Barton Orchards

Barton Orchards is a family-owned pick-your-own apple and pumpkin farm in Poughquag, in the Hudson Valley, and has been run by the Barton family for over 40 years. Visitors can pick apples and pumpkins in season, visit a petting zoo, use playgrounds and a dog park, and ride a carousel. Parking is free in two lots, and the Tap Room has outdoor seating areas alongside indoor and outdoor seating across the farm. For private functions, the farm offers event spaces that are available for private bookings. The Sound Garden is a covered event space in the festival field with a full bar and 24 taps of local ciders, craft beers and cocktails. The Harvest Lounge is a live-music space with a full bar and 12 taps. Private events, including celebrations, corporate events, brunches and group outings, can be built around customizable food and beverage packages with add-ons such as a cider tasting or martini bar, plus farm experiences such as hayrides and petting-zoo visits. The farm lists three event venues that can host from 25 to more than 500 guests.
