Barrelhouse The Venue is a restored 1871 barrel factory in Michigan City’s Elston Grove District, with exposed brick and timbers, original hardwood floors, rope and dimmable lighting, and an oversized rustic bar. Its main event space hosts indoor ceremonies and receptions for up to 200 seated guests or 300 cocktail-style; ceremonies can also be held outdoors in the courtyard. An outdoor patio is lined with whiskey barrels, and the bridal suite can convert to a private dining area for up to 40 guests. The venue is less than two miles from Lake Michigan and about 60 miles from Chicago.
