About Ballroom Dance of NJ

A private event space of about 1,100 square feet on the second floor of a building in downtown Summit, New Jersey, at 447 Springfield Avenue, Unit W-2. The interior has 12-foot ceilings, a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in natural light, dark hardwood floors, and custom framed mirrors 6 to 7 feet tall, with furniture and comfortable seating. The space was renovated in November 2025 with updated lighting and a modern bathroom. Dimmable lighting and restroom access are part of every rental. Rentals are offered as a Classic package (a 2-hour rental for up to 20 guests in an open layout), a Celebrate & Dance party package (a 2-hour party for 15 to 20 guests that includes a 45-minute group dance class with a professional instructor), and a Prestige package described as all-inclusive from setup to cleanup. Chairs, tables, a professional sound system, and professional lighting depend on the package selected. Listed uses include birthdays, anniversaries, showers, family celebrations, meetings, workshops, and photo or video shoots. Outside catering and food are permitted, but the venue has no kitchen facilities. Alcohol may be served only where local rules allow and when agreed in advance, and guests must be 21 or older to drink. Public parking lots are within steps of the building, and the Summit train station is about a two-minute walk away.
