The line that looks like a tip
The 22% looks like a tip. It might not be. Nobody at the tasting will bring it up.
The question
Read this quote with me. $95 a person, Wedding Reimagined’s example. Under it, in smaller type, a 22% service charge. Your partner says “great, that’s the tip, no envelopes.” Be honest with me: do you believe them?
- Yes. Twenty-two percent is the tip. One less envelope to stuff.
- No. I don’t know who gets it, and I’m asking in writing before I sign.
Answer it in Bride IQ to hear what Belle thinks, see whether you were right, and watch your score move.
The careful version: Service charge, gratuity, tax: three different lines.
This one is part of Money IQ and of the test.
