The Powerhouse is a 1911 concrete and masonry substation at 3rd Avenue and Pine Street in Yakima. It was built to supply the direct-current electricity that ran the historic streetcar line, and it is offered for private rental as an event space at $150 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Private events and facility rentals are booked year-round through an online inquiry form. Historic trolleys can also be chartered for special occasions and celebrations, and free parking is available on site at the Pine Street location.
