Woodside Ranch is a guest ranch on more than 1,000 acres of wooded land about five miles east of Mauston, Wisconsin, on State Road 82. Rustic cabins sit among the wooded walking and riding trails. The property also includes a small lake for boating and catch-and-release fishing, a petting farm, and trail and wagon rides, and it has provided family getaways for over 100 years. For celebrations, a traditional conference room is set up for receptions, banquets, conferences, retreats and parties. Audio-visual equipment is included in bookings, and seating can be arranged in variable layouts. The Trading Post includes the Round-Up Room, a dance hall with an arcade area, and a horseshoe-design cocktail bar. An onsite theater is part of the conference center. Guests can stay in log cabins, in rustic rooms above the ranch house, or in a lake house that holds 15 guests across six bedrooms. Stays are offered nightly from spring through fall, with a two-night minimum.
