Wedding venue in Prole, Iowa

About White Knot Barn

Set on 140 acres of Central Iowa farmland about 20 minutes from the Des Moines metro, White Knot Barn offers a climate-controlled barn for weddings and other private events. The barn has vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, a cupola with a crystal chandelier, a large bar area, patio, and countryside views. Couples can hold ceremonies indoors or outdoors beside a pond, with the indoor space available as a weather backup. The venue also has a bridal loft, a separate groomsmen’s lounge, and a caterer prep kitchen. Tables, chairs, setup, and post-event cleanup are included; couples may bring licensed and insured vendors, while alcohol service is provided by the venue.
