About Whippoorwill Acres Wedding and Event Venue

Whippoorwill Acres is a timber-frame barn venue on 50 acres of rolling northern Missouri pasture, about 25 minutes from Kirksville, Missouri, and Bloomfield, Iowa. The barn has high vaulted ceilings, bright windows, and chandeliers, with indoor and outdoor areas for ceremonies and receptions, including multiple outdoor ceremony locations. The venue accommodates up to 450 guests, though separate seated and standing capacities are not specified. The main floor includes the indoor wedding area, groom’s den, caterer’s kitchen, restrooms, children’s playroom, and full-service bar. An upper-level loft provides viewing and seating, and the property also has a bridal suite, outdoor play area, and lighted patio. Couples can use the Borrowed Room décor inventory, and the rental includes tables and chairs. The venue offers bartenders and requires all alcohol served on the premises to be purchased there; outside vendors are welcome.
