About Visit Calico Ghost Town
Calico is a living-history destination set in an old mining town established during California’s 1881 silver strike. Many of its buildings were restored to resemble their 1880s appearance, and the town includes shops, restaurants and attractions amid the surrounding desert landscape. The park also offers outdoor recreation and more than 300 campsites, ranging from dry camping to full hookups. Because of the town’s historic character, some areas are not ADA accessible.
