The Virginia Wine Collective is an urban wine production facility and tasting room at 1585 Avon Street Extended in Charlottesville, across from the Wegman's Shopping Center. The building holds nine private winemaker suites, an incubator program and a central production area, where independent winemakers anchor their licenses and craft their own wines. The tasting room and kitchen serve curated Winemaker Wine Flights, wine by the glass and bottle, a rotating selection of cold beers on tap, thin-crust pizzas and shareable plates, and non-alcoholic beverages are also offered. The tasting room is open Wednesday through Friday from 5 to 10 PM. Weekly programming includes Friday Night Winemaker Pop-Ups with complimentary tastings and Wednesday karaoke.
